Thol Lake

Thol lake bird sanctuary is a freshwater body surrounded by marshes on the edge and scrubby forest embarking the sides. A visual treat to the birdwatchers this place is a home to more than 100 species of birds like cranes, geese, flamingos, pelicans, egret, herons, ducks, whistling teals and many other migratory birds.

Post rains in between and during the beginning of November to February a long drive to the place with dear ones and friends is an ideal way to get away from the maddening rush of the hustle of the city life. While driving to the lake keep an eye on the birds and flowers on the way near the canal. This place is worthy of spending an entire day and capturing the nature with different movements and behaviour of the birds in alliance with nature.
