Set off on a regal culinary journey at The Gateway Hotel Ummed Ahmedabad

Amdavadis can now savour delicacies from the royal province of Rajasthan at Narmada – the specialty Indian restaurant at The Gateway Hotel Ummed Ahmedabad. Guests can savour authentic Rajasthani dishes as a part of the ongoing Rajasthani Food Festival till 5^th March 2014.

The festival will showcase handpicked bouquet of eclectic vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes from the royal kitchens of Rajasthan.  Visiting Rajasthani Chef Vipin Semwal of The Gateway Hotel, Jodhpur, come down especially for the festival, has meticulously put together a perfect mix of main course, desserts and beverages chosen from various regions across Rajasthan.   

Commenting on the festival, Chef Siddharth Shankar, Executive Chef, The Gateway Hotel Ummed, said “The aim is to bring to our guests something unique and give them a flavour of authentic Rajasthani cuisine. We have flown down Chef Vipin Semwal from Taj Rajasthan to keep the dishes as authentic as possible. The week-long Rajasthani Food Festival offers a perfect mix of aromatic vegetarian and non-vegetarian fare which our guests are sure to remember for a long time.”

Guests can relish signature Rajasthani specialties like Raj Kachori, Palak patta papri chaat, Dal baati churma or enjoy Rajasthani gatta curry, Jaipur bhindi masaledaar and more.

The delectable vegetarian selection includes Paneer rajwada, Ker sangri, and Chatpatte chane jaisalmer se among others. Teamed with staples like Dal Khilma andMasaledar besan ki roti, Moong dal ki puri, the dishes are elevated to a new culinary high. Mouthwatering desserts like Akroot badam ka halwa, Gur ki lapsi, Jodhpuri mawa kachori will leave the guests asking for more!
