Fanatika Theatre Club and TransIndus Foundation in association with the Alliance Française d’Ahmedabad and Gujarati Sahitya Parishad have organized the 2nd Fanatika International Theatre Documentary Festival from 1st February 2013 to 3rd February 2013. Chintan Pandya has curated this International Theatre Documentary Festival.
This festival is an attempt to expose the audiences of Ahmedabad to theatre practices from around the world. The entry for this event is free and open to all.
Documentaries are from India and countries such as Germany, France, Italy, Portugal, Australia, Switzerland, Kuwait, Israel etc. A lot of these documentaries are in foreign languages such as Hebrew, Portuguese, Italian, and German and in Indian languages such as Assamese, Gujarati and Hindi. All these documentaries are subtitled in English so that everyone can appreciate cinema from other cultures.
