Mainland China at Gulmohar Park

It may sound awkward to say, but good authentic Chinese cuisine really is hard to find in Ahmedabad.  I’m not saying there aren’t good dishes or a few good restaurants scattered around the city but most of them tend to serve Indian Chinese, which is greasy and salty.  That’s why when Mainland China opened at Gulmohar Mall; it was exciting to see what they have to offer.

Mainland China – A mini voyage to China over a meal! The minute you step into this fine dining restaurant, you will be engulfed in a full-fledged Chinese ambience.

If you crave for Chinese food or are passionate about Chinese food, it does not get better than this upscale specialty restaurant. The menu at Mainland China is expensive and is great for vegetarians and non-vegetarians! The staff is knowledgeable and they suggest the best dishes according to your taste.

No matter what you choose to order, you can be rest assured that the flavor is divine and texture is delightful. Considering that they are attempting to serve authentic Chinese flavors, you may find the food very different from Chinese food available at road shacks across the town. Nevertheless, the food and its artful presentation will impress you.

The buffet is to die for at Mainland China and is worth every penny spent. The starters, main course and the desserts are delectable and you may find it hard to relish all of them if you don’t go on an empty stomach. We highly recommend this buffet if you are a non-vegetarian.

In a city, where fine dining is still not popular culture, Mainland China stands out as one of the best fine dining restaurants with its sophisticated interiors and lip smacking food!
