JACKKY BHAGNANI , THE SHOWSTOPPER(s) AT RAJPATH CLUB

Navratri celebrations are at its peak in Ahmedabad and once again the TAB team got a chance to witness a fascinating night of garba at Rajpath Club. The advent of Bollywood stars coming to Ahmedabad during Navratri is a well known fact. Today, the cast and crew of Ajab Gazabb Love Jackky Bhagnani, Nidhi Subbaiah, Gujarati actor Darshan Jariwala, Producer Vashu Bhagnani, and Director Sanjay Gadhvi rocked the stage at 11:45pm amongst a cheering crowd of Rajpath Club.

Jackky danced on his famous songs “Char Baj Gaye Lekin Party abhi baki hai” and recently popular “Boom Boom” from AGL. He along with Darshan Jariwala performed a live scene “Kele lelo” on stage which got a great response from the crowd. Then came Nidhi, clad in a light pink Punjabi Suit looked way too gorgeous and obviously out of my league (well, that’s what every male present there except Jackky thought) She said “kem cho” to the gujju crowd and sang the song “Tu” from AGL.Actually not only I but the whole crowd got sidetracked by the stars and lost their focus from the Garba which started again once they left.

There was this Group called the ‘Showstoppers’ who specially requested us to cover them and we were amused to see their garba skills and we were glad to know about their achievements too. The whole group caught the attention of the crowd with new garba styles getting in more and more varieties like the umbrella dance, valiant fire dance and more styles to which the audience were baffled to watch. The whole team comprises of twenty five members, who along with their business skills are fabulous dancers too. The group started performing in 2008 and has almost won on 5-6 days every navratri. They were the winners on first day at Rajpath Club and on second day at Karnavati Club. Showstoppers performed at the inauguration Kankaria Carnival in front of Shri Narendra Modi. We wish them a good luck for the rest of the days too.

Then there was a dance group from the Andh Kanya Shala (Blind Girls School) who won the first prize barring the fact that neither of the girls could see anything.

Jackky, Nidhi, The Showstoppers along with Blind Girls rocked the third day at Rajpath Club.
