The culture & traditions of India has always been an inspiration to the western culture , whether its the yoga or herbal medicine to spices & festive. The latest addition to this is “The Maha Kumbh Mela” in Allahabad. The “size and complexity” of the Kumbh Mela is inspirational for inter-disciplinary research in a number of complementary fields of urban studies and design, religious and cultural studies, environmental science and public health, technology and communications.
It ‘s been chosen as a subject of case study by one of the most renowned business schools of world- Harvard University, than how can our own best-known business school IIM-A can stay behind.
The Indian Institute Of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A) has also come up with the idea of a “Mahakumbh” for its old mavericks.It will hold IIMAvericks Meet on January 26 and 27 on its campus, terming the event as a Mahakumbh.
The pass out entrepreneurs will also be present in this meet , along with more than 100 alumni participating in it. The event will be organised by IIM-A’s Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE).
The main objective behind this whole event is to polish the students of IIM to turn into entrepreneurs, authors, artists & changing leaders.
Prof Rakesh Basant, Chairperson of CIIE, said, “We believe entrepreneurship is not just about doing business but about following your passions. Hence, the term ‘maverick.’ We wish to celebrate the idea of being different and create a family that can encourage and support each other.”
