Food Review: Mint Route

Once it a mistake, twice a coincidence, but thrice – it is the devil. Definitely there is something devilish going around at Mint Route. How else can you lure people again and again. We have been a fan of Mint Route since the time we first went to this place. Actually, we wanted to go there even before the opening. 🙂

This place is famous among many people, so you have to wait for a table even on weekdays. (Says a lot about their food and popularity). Everything is sinfully good there – the ambience, the food, the service, serving portions and also the choice of food. (We also enjoy the music they play) We have been there more than thrice and each time we have had a great experience.

The recent visit puts all our doubts to rest (not that we had much doubt in the first place) Their strombolis are excellent and a must have. Another item to be added to the must have list is Ratatouille with big chunky veggies, right amount herbs and a nice tangy gravy. The bread they serve with the Ratatouille is really yummy.

Now the icing on the cake is literally the dessert. They have the most delicious brownies. Their Chocolate Mousse is also worth a special mention. One bite of this heavenly dessert and you know why the place is so popular. No wonder people throng this place and there is always a queue waiting for a table even on week days.

Love binds two strangers to each other in the most fascinating way. And that holds true for us (Anusha and Sathya) too. We are bonded to each other by love, love for food. Thus we bring to you some of the experiences that we had in exploring the gastronomic options in Ahmedabad, a city that we as a couple love.
