Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation’s complaint call centre launched

Is a civic problem bothering you? Need a quick way to register your complaint? Worry no more. The Comprehensive Complaint Redressal System (CCRS) has been launched in Ahmedabad wherein citizens can now simply dial 155303, a toll free number, for any civic complaints. The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) is the first civic body in Gujarat to have launched a complaint redressal system. Following AMC’s footsteps, 8 other civic bodies in the state too will launch this cutting edge system.

The call centre has been introduced to centralize the process and keep a track of solved complaints. The call centre would be functional from 8 AM to 10 PM and will have 30 lines. There is an option to register a complaint post 10 PM, wherein an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system will guide citizens in registering their complaints.

 

At present, this system covers more than 204 different types of complaints such as road repair, tree fall, wall collapse, burst drainage, potholes, water supply lines and waterlogging. Once your complaint is registered with the call centre, the concerned official will be informed regarding the complaint through SMS. The software will also display with which department the complaint has been registered as well as details of the deadline to solve it. Usually, depending upon the nature of the complaint, it can take anytime from 1 day to 1 week to resolve the complaint.

 

When you register the complaint, a number is sent to your phone. You can use this number on the Internet interface of the redressal system to know the real-time status of the complaint. This way you will exactly know when exactly the complaint will be resolved or whether nothing is being done about your complaint. The concerned officer too stays in touch with you to resolve your problem. That’s not all. If your complaint is resolved but you are not happy with the solution or outcome, then you can re-register your complain.

 

If you cant get through the call centre, then you can even register the complaints online on AMC’s website: www.egovamc.com or by sending an SMS – AMCCRS NEW to 56070.

 

The entire system will be observed for 3 months and then recommended changes will be made to enhance the current system.

    R/Sir, as we r staying in Madhav Appt, Maniyasa soc. there is a small side plot in our flat it is fully with garbage’s due to which mosquitoes has araised and children r falling sick pls help us out for cleaning the garbages from the plot its my humble request —- thnks

    Complain is for guter overflowing.
    We hv complain from last 10 days regarding guter overflowing, there is no response from your side, when we call the big guter they r not keeping up the phone 90% of the time and 10% if they pick up the phone they note down the complain and give us the complain number saying person in charge in will come till date there no response. Every one from our pole have call up and giving return complain gone personal. but still no response till date.

    Dear Sir,my name is Anand Mishra i am living at Laxminagar Society, Behind Narol Court, Narol , Ahmedabad, In our area from Narol court to our Society Laxminagar , Umang Narol Garbage lying everywhere there are only one or two dustbin kept from Munucipal corporation . Due to this Mosquito breading too much. I have done so many complaint but no one taking action against complint. roads are also in very poor condition but no hearing our complaint request to you plese make roads properly in our are keep primary facility on our area.

    I am live in Bapunagar – 220/1316,G.H.B. Here is problem of Gutter Overflow in wash area, Bathroom & toilet. It is worst condition to live. we are suffering from last 15-20 days. we did complaint 3-4 times but nobody is coming to solve our problem even they are not giving complaint number. pls solve this problem as soon as possible.

    The number is not working. Whenever we dial it tell like “Please check the number u have dialed.” I am dialing 155303 number directly from my mobile.

    Do we need to add some other number before this number like 079 or else?

    My name is Ashok hakoo. My address is B-2, shree Om villa, Goda camp road, shahibaug–38004, Ahmedabad. It is located near BSNL office. There is a sub road between BSNL OFFICE and ANMOL SOCIETY. THIS SUB ROAD is property of municipal council and gives passage to our OM VILLA SOCIETY.The passage is blocked by illegal occupation and is encroached by house hold items, hand driven carts, cattle mence, three wheelers etc.During night some people lay carts and sleep on this road. It is very risky to drive on this road during nights and early mornings and even during day time. Since that road connect to our society we have no choice to drive and reach to our appartments . We have complaint many times in writing to municipal corporation. The officers do visit the place and do promise to clear this mence and never do anything. We have waited couple of years with hope that something would be done. Our government stress on cleanliness but we complain no action. Gujarat being model development of India and shahibaug being model of Gujarat. I hope some sr. Officer will come to our rescue and assist us to clean up this mence.

      I am a resident of B-2, Shree Om Villa society, located at sub road to Goda camp road, adjustant to BSNL office, Behind Anmol society, Shahibaug, Ahmedabad. My name is ashok hakoo retired ex. president of a foreign private group.
      We have registered complaints with municipal corporation administration and are complaining since year 2001. This sub road attached to Goda camp road is encroached upon by hut dwellers, The condition of this road is has deteriorating, and hut man are growing.,they block this road which is the only entrance to our society. Moreover they park their carts, trucks, rickshaws, and
      cattle etc., and dump their house hold waste on this sub road.. Children also play on this sub road and during night adults/children sleep on this road. It is very risky to drive especially during night to enter to our society,The children within the age group of 3 to 6 years are playing on this road without accompanied by their parents or adults. Many residents living in this area are suffering from Malaria and chickenguniya because of unclean surroundings. I request your office to arrange a visit and take survey of the actual facts and concerns of the society and its surrounding residents which they face on day to day basis. I request you to give me an appointment so that I can bring actual photographs and show them to you. They are so bad that I hesitate to put them on your site. our government has ambitious plans to develop our city and grant status of smart city. this is also in the interests of health of the society and hutment dwellers.

    I am requesting you to take up our issue with the concerned officers and get our problem of encroachment of only municipal road connected to our society shree om villa sorted out..This encroachment started somewhere in year 2011/12. I have complained on December 29 th on this site. Before this date we did complaint to Municipal commissioner through E mail. Initially there was some reaction from ward officers and then state government machinery has failed to remove encroachment.

    I have put complaint under token number EST- 03181537587 and to my surprise the case was closed without attending the complaint. I got this complained reopened under the same token number, and request the officer in charge to take these type of complaints seriously and for gods sake stop casual attention. God forbid if any accident occurs during night time your office will be equally responsible for it. Therefore we humbly request you to get this municipal road ( lane) cleared and ensure ladies/kids/men do not sleep on this road during night.

    EST03181537587 token number was closed again second time without giving any attention to my complaint. It seems opening a web site to complaint has become a fashion for marketing your department. Is there any senior officer checking this page. I have put complaint and till now no body has brother even to read it. I request all officers to work as per their work distribution and attend to various problems raised on your site or scrap this site.

    I do once again request sr. official to help us in having a peaceful life at our residential flats. yesterday evening my car was blocked in our sub lane having only entry to our OM villa apartments. After having a verbal arguments with three wheeler driver I managed to drive to our residential apartments. If this encroachment which blocks our entry to our society was cleared this situation would have not come. As per our top court order municipal corporation is supposed to implement their order instructions and this could relieve all residents of Society and also chali residents. we need your support and are legal residents of our society and we do pay our house taxes regularly.

It has become impossible for us to drive to our apartments especially late evening hours and early morning hours. I humbly request administrative staff to inspect sub lane going to our apartments shree om villa society and give us the solutions. this sub lane which is encroached by chawl residents needs to be cleared by your dobang section who need instructions from your administrative staff.
    I would like to have an appointment with commissioner/asst. commissioner so that I can personally explain to him with the problems we do face on daily basis. We are educated and law abiding residents and need your assistance on these issues.

    Understand your administrative team has visited the location but till date no action. we need your help to get situation corrected. what we demand a neat , clean and encroachment free sub road connected to our OM VILLA SOCIETY from main road.. We are regular municipal tax payers.
